SPECIFICATION
The challenge of designing a large format line array is how to maintain excellent acoustics which meet all criteria of WST(Wave Sculpture Technology) while putting more speakers along with wave guide inside the limited space of an enclosure.Large format line array sometimes needs to cover up to 100 meters distance.Due to air temperature and humidity changes, mid-hi frequency can be absorbed up to 10-20dB, less headroom of mid-hi frequency can not be able to supple the reduction in far field.
GT 13 utilizes neodymium drivers from head to toe, which ensure high sensitivity and less weight. Up to 112dB sensitivity delivered by dual 3” compression tweeters with 75mm titanium voice coil which is custom-made by B&C Italy and 108dB sensitivity delivered by dual 10” mid-range drivers. The upper frequency limit of mid-range drivers is up to 8KHz, which ensure high resolution for mid-hi frequency range.
Including two 13” woofers, 6 pieces drivers in total and 1 piece wave guide need to be put in the compact enclosure properly: two 10” mid-range drivers placed behind two 3” tweeters horizontally and two 13” woofers placed as V shape side by side with the mid-range horn. Dual Exits Technology of mid range horn realizes excellent acoustics, in which 2 mid-range drivers cooperate and integrate completely and smoothly. No extra adjustment from EQ is even needed.GT 13 is the line array speaker that is truly able to reproduce full range frequency and work with GT 21 subwoofer perfectly as the mid-range drivers can go down to 200Hz and 13” woofers can go down to 40Hz.
